I finally got around to writing that fanfic I was talking about. That
preview I posted is more like a prologue, considering how I start this
part. This whole story ties in with my previous fanfic, so it's sort
of a sequel, except this one doesn't really follow the storyline of my
last story, so it's actually just a follow-up. This part is rated
PG-14 for weird eating habits and bad language.

Killers and Thieves

Somewhere in the forest, Pikachu was being carried by a very
fast-moving human female. He tried shocking her, but she just smiled
and kept going, not even slowing down. He tried again, this time with
all his strength, and she slowed down for a moment. She pulled him up
to her face and glared at him. "The first time it tickled, but now
it's annoying. Stop it now, or I'll be forced to put you to sleep."
With that in mind, Pikachu decided to keep quiet.

After two hours of very fast travel, they stopped in a clearing. The
male grabbed a large branch off a tree, tossed it in the middle of the
clearing, then set it ablaze with a lighter.

"Okay, put him down," the male said as he pulled out a gun. "Now..."
He pointed the gun directly at Pikachu and pulled slightly on the
trigger. "Where's Mewtwo?"

"Pika pi?"

"He can't speak, remember?" the other one said. "It's not like he's
very smart." She pulled a small device out of her coat, about the size
of her fingertip. She moved to place it on his neck, but Pikachu
shrunk back. "Look, this'll allow you to talk like we do, and I'm
gonna get this thing on you, so you can either let me, or I can put you
to sleep and then put it on you. Your choice." She moved on Pikachu
again, but he stayed still. "There. Now, was that so bad?"

"I guess not." That surprised him. "What the fuck...?!"

"See? Now you can talk. Congratulations."

"Thanks...I think."

"Let's introduce ourselves, shall we?" She motioned at her partner.
"This is Aaron. I'm Jennifer. Just call me Jen."

"Nice to meet you." They shook hands, then Aaron picked him up and
pointed the gun directly at his head.

"Where's Mewtwo?"

"Who?"

"Mewtwo. Wait, hold on." He put his hand on Pikachu's face and closed
his eyes. "Damn it! I fucking knew it!" He walked away in a huff and
sat down on a nearby rock. "Damn it, Sean, why'd you have to do that?"

"Knew what? Do what? Sean who?"

Jen decided to answer that. "Mewtwo was a pokémon that Jerry teamed up
with to destroy this planet. He was killed by a friend of ours, Sean.
Apparently, he erased your memory before disappearing."

"Then why did you take me?"

Aaron put away his gun and pulled out a dagger. It was a very nice
weapon, the blade a little over eight inches long, double-edged, and
about as wide as his finger. It wasn't much, but it looked extremely
dangerous in his hands. Aaron pointed the tip at the electric
pokémon's eye, then turned to look at something in the darkness.

"We took you for two reasons. One, even though Sean erased your
memory, the technique he used is usually used against humans, so you
might be able to remember a fragment that could be useful to us."

"What's the other reason?"

"You're going to destroy the world."

"Excuse me??"

"In a matter of months, Ash will get all eight badges and reach Indigo
Platform. Once there, he'll challenge the Elite Four. He'll win, of
course, until he gets to Lance. The battle will proceed normally until
Lance decides to bring out his Dragonite. You two will fight, and
at the end, you'll use a Thunder attack and win."

"Sounds all right." Pikachu was becoming a little egotistical hearing
all this.

"Not really. That Thunder attack enraged the Dragonite, who went
berserk and destroyed Ash, Lance, you, the stadium, and one unfortunate
spectator. Professor Oak, who, in less than ten years, will invent a
device that will solve this world's hunger problem. A replication unit
that can create any kind of food at any time."

"Whoa." Then he got a little suspicious. "How do you know all this?"

"Hold on." He tossed the dagger into the air, caught the tip, then
threw it into the darkness. A tiny squeak of pain told them he had
just killed a small animal. He walked into the brush and picked up his
dagger, which had a somewhat large Rattata impaled on the tip.

"Ah, good, dinner." He pulled his dagger out, then calmly ripped the
head off the tiny animal, stuck two fingers down it's throat and began
pulling out body parts. "Yum." He didn't sound like he found it very
tasty, but he kept on eating.

Pikachu looked in horror as he picked out all the major organs from the
pokémon. "I see you don't like it either," Jen said sympathetically.
"Aaron isn't exactly human, and he likes his meat as rare as it can
get." She pulled out her gun, pointed it in the air at nothing in
particular, and fired a single shot of whitish energy. Pikachu heard
a squawk from above, then Jen quickly put away her gun and held her arm
out, and a Pidgey fell right into her hand. "I like mine well-done."

She thrust her arm, and the Pidgey, directly into the fire burning on
the large tree branch. Pikachu watched in amazement as the bird was
barbequed, but the woman's arm was completely untouched. She finally
pulled her arm out of the fire, then used her dagger to scrape off the
feathers and open up the body. Then she just started pulling out body
parts and popping them into her mouth like candy.

"As for Professor Oak," Aaron started, "The Agency doesn't want your
world to end, at least not yet."

"The what?"

"The Agency. The first, and now the greatest covert/black ops agency
in the universe. We've been around for billions of years now."

"That's impossible, humans have only been around for a few thousand
years."

"Who said we were human?"

"Okay, then this planet hasn't been around that long."

"Who said we were based on this planet? We're way over in another
fucking galaxy, you dumb rodent. We've been around longer than you can
imagine." He finished off the Rattata, then went off into the forest
in search of bigger prey.

"Don't mind him," Jen said sweetly, "He's just upset because we were
called away from a well-deserved vacation to come here and clean up
Sean's mess. See, Jerry is a fellow agent who we suspected was dealing
with the Underworld."

"What's that?" Pikachu asked, becoming very engrossed in this story.

"It's a planet filled with what your religious groups would call
demons. They're strong, very fast, and they have powers that rival our
own, so we consider them a threat to us. Jerry made a deal with them,
the demons, to become one of them. They gave him the power to
transform to demon form when he so wished, but luckily for Sean, he
didn't have complete control over the powers they gave him."

"So...Sean killed him?"

"Yes. Demons can be killed by chopping off their head, disintegrating
their bodies, or any other immediately fatal attack. However, their
spirits can be reincarnated in other bodies, so they're always coming
back for more. Except recently, we found a weapon that kills demons,
permanently." She pulled out her dagger and held it out like a display
in a museum. "An Athame, a weapon blessed against evil. It looks just
like our daggers, but it has unknown properties that somehow kill
demons. All you have to do is stab them in the heart with it, and they
die, for good."

"Interesting. But why are you guys here?"

"Sean stole the Athame from our headquarters before coming here to find
Jerry. His original mission was to discover proof that Jerry had cut
a deal with the Underworld, then kill Mewtwo and his mother, Mew.
Unfortunately, it didn't go as planned. We're not sure what happened,
but we do know that Sean and his partner, Maggie, have turned renegade
on us, so we're here to find them, bring them back, and find and kill
Mewtwo."

"So...why am I here?"

"If you remember where you last saw Mewtwo, we'll have a clue as to
where he is. Sean is another story, however, so once we find Mewtwo,
we'll have to figure out what to do with you." Pikachu got a very
worried look on his face, like he was about to be thrown on the fire.
"Don't worry, we won't kill you. You've got to stay alive, for now, at
least."

"Umm...you just said I was the cause of the destruction of the world.
So why are you suddenly deciding to keep me alive?"

"We have our reasons. We foresaw you destroying this planet with a
temporal scanner, a device that can scan time, specifically the future.
We can determine what will happen, but the results get less accurate
the further we go into the future, so all we may have to do are some
minor changes here, and this world will thrive like it's supposed to."

"Oh. So...got anything for me to eat?"

Aaron returned with no new bodies, but his mouth and chin were covered
in blood, so Pikachu assumed he had found some new prey. Jen put
Pikachu to sleep, then she and Aaron went to sleep themselves.

In the morning they all left on foot at first, with Pikachu being
carried by Jen. Once they had cleared the trees, Aaron and Jen began
running very fast. After they covered a few hundred yards in only a
few seconds, they came to a cliff. Much to Pikachu's surprise, they
leaped off, and to his even greater surprise, they didn't fall.
Instead, they rose into the air very quickly, then when they reached an
altitude of a few thousand feet, Jen dropped Pikachu and let him fall
to the canyon below.

"Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit..........."

Suddenly, Aaron began falling beside him, at equal speed so that they
were facing each other. "Where did the battle take place?"

"I don't fucking know!!!"

"Then figure it out, quickly. Otherwise," he motioned at the rocks
below, "You're gonna be laying beside Wil E. fucking Coyote."

In a flash inside his mind, Pikachu saw the image of the three Cerulean
sisters, Misty's siblings, standing out in front of their gym.

"Cerulean! It was in Cerulean!"

Aaron smiled triumphantly, then grabbed the little rodent pokémon and
flew back up to Jen.

"It was in Cerulean," he said.

"Good. Now we know exactly where he is."

Pikachu glanced at them, then at the rocks far below them. "How the
hell could you know where he is? I just told you he was in Cerulean."

"There's a cave in the Cerulean area that's known only to Agents. Most
likely Sean sent Mewtwo and his mother there after the battle, so now
we know exactly where Mewtwo is."

"Yep. Hell, we can forget about Mewtwo for now and concentrate on
Sean." He turned to Jen. "You have any idea where he might be?"

"I don't know. He could be anywhere."

Celadon City. The biggest city in the region, full of massive office
buildings as well as some of the best hotels around. Inside the best
place in town were two teenagers taking a well-deserved rest.

"So, what do we do now?" Maggie asked while munching on a crab leg.

"I don't have a fucking clue," Sean said from above her. He was
stretching out on the ceiling above the table, slowly chewing a
sandwich. "Most likely the Agency will send somebody after us."

"Yeah. What do you think they'll do to us?"

"Definitely kill us. Maybe torture us first, see what we know about
Mewtwo and Jerry."

"So what do we do?"

"I don't know. I've already sent a message to Mewtwo, but I'm a little
worried he'll still be pissed at me."

"Maybe. Look, how about we do a little shopping? Maybe we get you a
gun or two? That'll cheer you up."

"I guess." He floated down from the ceiling and landed on the floor
in front of a nightstand with a black gym bag sitting on it.

"So, how much money do we have left?"

He opened the bag, which had an excessive amount of $100 bills in it,
all nicely wrapped with gold bands. He swept his eyes over the package
and immediately counted every single bill in it. He ignored the
silverish glint of light sitting under all the money. That was not his
concern, yet.

"We've got about fifty large. But I'm a little reluctant to spend this
money just yet."

"Stop worrying, and let's go!"

The Mall of Celadon was the largest shopping center in the city, and
one of the most famous in the world. Almost everyone in the city
visited it every day, going through the various shops, buying
everything that could be bought.

Sean and Maggie were walking around a gun shop, just looking at the
weapons but not buying any of them. Sean was about to leave when he
saw two people sitting at a table eating burgers and fries. What was
odd about that was there was a very frightened Pikachu sitting between
them. Then he saw the gun on the table.

"Shit."

"What?"

"They're here."

I'm getting good at this cliffhanger shit, aren't I? Yeah, it makes
you want to kill me, but what the hell, it's my fanfic, I control
what goes on inside it. Let me know if this fanfic is any better
or worse than my first, okay?
