Hey, how you doing? Due to a complete lack of a lemon based on that
Mewtwo and Misty pic, I've decided to write this story. This isn't a
lemon, however. As a matter of fact, in this particular post, the
sexual content is zero, so anyone can read it, and you can forget that
"over 18" shit. I actually write short stories as a hobby, so the only
challenge was integrating my writing style with the pokémon universe.
This is the first pokémon fanfic I've written, so bear that in mind
when you critique this story.

Mewtwo's Escape
Inside the research lab on Cinnabar island, Dr. Jonas
watched a pokémon from the observation deck. Almost all
species of pokémon had been cataloged, so Dr. Jonas, the
genius that he was, decided to genetically engineer a
pokémon, one without the various flaws of all other species,
flaws like Primeape's tendency to beat people to death for
looking in its eyes, or that awful smell Grimers and Muks had.
This pokémon was perfect, quiet, peaceful, nonviolent. After
many years of failed experiments, Dr. Jonas finally managed to
create that perfect specimen, which he dubbed Mew. Three months
after its creation, it gave birth to another pokémon, which he
called Mewtwo. Now he was watching this new pokémon in an
enclosure that perfectly simulated an area of the Safari Zone,
enough to fool even the rangers that worked there. But for
some reason, Mewtwo wasn't fooled by the artificial landscape.
Sometimes Jonas thought Mewtwo was actually looking at him
through the camouflage covering the two-way mirror.
"He's too smart for his own good," Jonas muttered to himself.
"Yes, but what are we going to do about it?" said another
doctor who walked in just then. Jonas looked up and saw
Dr. Micheals, one of his associates that helped start the
Mew project. "Ever since he became fully grown, Mewtwo has
exhibited signs of suppressed rage. I fear if we keep him
here much longer, he'll become violent."
"I don't believe so," Jonas replied. "If the behavioristics
of the mother are any indication, Mewtwo may just be aware of
our presence, but I seriously doubt him to be capable of
violence."
"Must I remind you of our other experiments? I thank God Mew
turned out like she did. Also, I feel I must remind you that
if Mewtwo becomes violent, the committee will cut our funding.
They don't want to be a part of something that might be dangerous."
"Mewtwo is NOT dangerous, but he has become very agitated lately.
I think we should increase the dosage."
At that moment, there was a knocking on the glass...from the outside.
Mewtwo was standing there, staring directly at Jonas and Micheals
with a very angry look on his face. They stared at each other for a
few moments, then a voice inside Jonas' head spoke.
"<Where is my mother?>"
"Did...he just...speak?" Jonas asked slowly.
"I didn't hear anything," Micheals said curiously.
"<Where is my mother?>" said a voice inside Micheals' head.
"I heard it!"
"He wants his mother...does he mean Mew?"
"That's impossible! He was separated from her at birth. There's
no way he could know about her."
The three of them went back to staring at each other, but then Mewtwo
brought a fist back, then slammed it through the glass, shattering the
barrier between the doctors and the enclosure. Before Micheals could
react, Mewtwo grabbed him by the throat and lifted him into the air.
"Where is my mother?!" the giant pokémon screamed.
"You can talk?" Jonas said in wonder.
Mewtwo glared at him, then threw Micheals across the room, sending
him crashing on a silver cart full of hypodermics and test tubes.
Mewtwo then jumped through the opening and out the door, which was no
small task. He was over six feet tall and wider than the door frame,
so at first he didn't fit. Then Mewtwo gave his first show of his
innate abilities. A surge of power crashed through the door, widening
it enough for him to walk through.
"Wait! Come back!" Jonas cried. He quickly picked up a phone nearby
and called security. "Hello? This is Dr. Jonas in observation.
Mewtwo has escaped. Repeat: Mewtwo has escaped. Don't let him leave
the compound, and DON'T injure him unless absolutely necessary!"
In the hallways, Mewtwo was frantically searching for the research
lab where the one they called Mew was being held. They had separated
the two at birth, yes, but Mewtwo always had a psychic connection to
his mother, ever since they had been separated. He could feel her
all the time, in pain, not from the physical wounds these humans
suffered from, but from the pain of captivity. He would free her from
this diabolical prison.
He was interrupted from his thoughts by a contingent of security
guards, all of them carrying automatic weapons.
"Let's go, Mewtwo," Dr. Jonas said from behind him. "You've caused
enough trouble for one day, don't you think?"
"<I want to see my mother,>" Mewtwo's voice said in his mind.
"That's not possible, Mewtwo."
"<Then I'll make it possible.>"
He sent a wave of psychic energy through the hallway, knocking down
the soldiers and sending their guns sliding across the floor. He
quickly ran past them, then used his powers to cause the ceiling to
come down, blocking the corridor.
"<Mother? Where are you?>"
"Mewtwo!"
Mewtwo saw that Dr. Micheals had gone all the way around the facility
and was now standing in front of him with a number of guards.
"Dr. Micheals..." Mewtwo said in contempt. "Where is my mother?"
"That is none of your concern, but since you've expressed a strong
desire to see her, we might be willing to let you visit her...if you
go back to the enclosure, peacefully."
"Why don't I just find her myself?"
"Because then things might have to get violent."
"I'm prepared to deal with that."
"Micheals!" Jonas shouted, "I told you, Mewtwo is not to be harmed in
any way!"
"Sorry, Jonas, Mewtwo has been deemed a threat to everyone here, and
we have to take certain measures to make sure he doesn't harm anyone."
"<You don't even know who you're dealing with,>" Mewtwo said in
his mind.
First, Mewtwo sent a wave of energy at the soldiers, knocking them off
their feet. Then he did the same to the ceiling, punching a hole
through the plaster, allowing the sun to shine through.
"<Good-bye.>"
Mewtwo leaped through the opening and onto the roof. The two doctors
quickly followed, using a fallen beam as a rope. Once on the roof,
Jonas looked around and saw Mewtwo on the edge of the roof, apparantly
about to jump.
"Mewtwo!"
The giant pokémon turned around slowly, then looked Jonas right in the
eyes.
"Dr. Jonas. You created my mother to be the perfect specimen of
pokémon. Did you ever expect someone like myself would be the product
of your experiments, or was I an accident? A creation that was never
meant to be, like your earlier experiments?"
"How do you know about those?"
"I know everything about them. I hear them in my mind, crying out to
be released. Like my mother."
"Please, don't make this any harder than it already is. I promise you,
if you come back with us to the lab, I'll bring Mew to you."
"Sorry, doctor, but I have other plans. My mother will be free, just
as I am now."
Mewtwo stepped off the edge, ran across the roof, and jumped off. But
he didn't fall. Instead, he rose up into the air, and flew away.
"He can fly?" Micheals said in amazement.
"I guess so..." Jonas watched as Mewtwo flew out of sight, then walked
back to the hole in the roof. "Now what are we supposed to do?"
This is the first of a multi-part story, so if you want to know what
happens next and how it ties in with the normal pokémon storyline, just
wait. I split up the story because I wanted to get the first part out
soon, and if I wrote the whole thing in one post, it'd be way too big.
I'll probably finish the next part sometime soon, but I'm not about to
put any work into it if no one's interested, so tell me what you think.
